GL EVENTS press release: GLOBAL INDUSTRIe The new event for the French manufacturing sector

The showcase for manufacturing excellence and prospects - From the 27th to the 30th of March, 2018, at Paris Nord Villepinte

GL events’ offensive strategy is bringing together a wider range than any other manufacturing exhibition in this country ever has.

The latest step is today’s presentation of a new name GLOBAL INDUSTRIE

The four exhibitions – MIDEST, SMART-INDUSTRIES, INDUSTRIE, and TOLEXPO – are combining to become GLOBAL INDUSTRIE. This international event brings together all stages of the manufacturing value chain. This unprecedented synergy enjoys the support of national and local authorities, the Alliance for the Industry of the Future (AIF), and the professional organizations.

GLOBAL INDUSTRIE brings together:

- The entire manufacturing ecosystem: startups, suppliers of products/solutions, equipment manufacturers, subcontractors, purchasers, large companies, regions.
- The entire value chain: research & innovation, design, production, services, training.

- All user sectors: transport & mobility, energy, food processing, infrastructure, consumer goods, chemistry, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, mechanics, defense/military, metallurgy, iron and steel ...

GLOBAL INDUSTRIE unites all the exhibitors and companies in the sector:

79% of visitors see the value in visiting a new exhibition that combines MIDEST, SMART-INDUSTRIES, INDUSTRIE Paris, and TOLEXPO.*

96% of visitors directly involved in the industry of the future say that they will visit this new event in March 2018.*

91% of exhibitors think that this event will increase their business.*

*Goudlink survey for GL Events – September 2017 conducted on a representative sample of individuals at the four exhibitions

Demonstration, information, and training

By highlighting French and international know-how and manufacturing excellence, GLOBAL INDUSTRIe aims:

 - to be a prototype of the Industry of the future and European innovation via its Connected Factory: a 1,000 m² demonstration space that combines the technologies and know-how presented at the four exhibitions (76% of the visitors want to see operational machinery at an exhibition*).

- to provide information about the industry of the future and innovation via its TV studio, which will feature feedback from CEOs of French and international companies and experts.

- to promote the manufacturing sector’s image in France – particularly to young people – and to highlight new jobs and skills. The Campus will federate all the initiatives that create jobs, provide training, and boost the attractiveness of manufacturing professions.

GLOBAL INDUSTRIE’s events and conferences will be the best reflection of the changes that are shaping the sector of tomorrow.
