Second edition of Fastener Fair Russia to be held in Moscow
Following a hugely successful launch event in St Petersburg last year, organisers Restec-Brooks are presenting the second Fastener Fair Russia which will take place at The All-Russian Exhibition Centre (VVC) in Moscow from 14th to 16th May 2014.
At present, over 100 companies from 18 countries have booked their stand space for Fastener Fair Russia 2014. Alongside predominantly Russian exhibitors, a number of companies from outside Russia will exhibit at Fastener Fair Russia. The main foreign exhibitor countries include China, Taiwan, Italy, Turkey and Germany.
The exhibition profile covers an extensive product range including industrial fasteners and fixings, assembly and installation systems, storage, distribution and factory equipment, fastener manufacturing technology and construction fixings. The event provides excellent business and networking opportunities and will bring together international suppliers of fastener and fixing technology with Russian distributors, wholesalers, users, engineers and manufacturers. Fastener Fair Russia attracts visitors from many industry sectors including construction, electronic goods, energy, marine, metal products, aerospace and communications technology, to name just a few.
Moscow is an ideal location as the political, industrial and economic heart of Russia. Susanne Rauberger, Exhibition Director, Fastener Fair Russia on behalf of the organisers, Restec-Brooks comments: “We have chosen Russia’s key business centre providing excellent opportunities for investors, manufacturers and distributors.” The region’s economic growth is driven by rising real income and improvement in lifestyle of Muscovites as well as the city’s heavy investment into infrastructure projects such as the high-speed railway track from Moscow to St. Petersburg. Machine building, metalworking and defense sectors have remained key segments of Moscow’s manufacturing industry structure while an increasing share has been claimed by light industries in recent years.
For international companies in the fastener and fixing industry, Russia is seen as a major global growth market. As a result of the infrastructure projects, the country offers a prosperous business environment, especially with the forthcoming 2018 FIFA World Cup.
The launch event held in St Petersburg in 2013 was praised as highly professional and worthwhile by both visitors and exhibitors. The exhibition survey confirmed that the quality of visitors was excellent as well as the organisation and overall impression of the event.
Fastener Fair Russia 2014 will be held at The All-Russian Exhibition Centre (VVC), Moscow’s second largest Exhibition Centre and one of the busiest in Russia. Located in Moscow’s North-East district, the VVC can be easily reached by metro, train and bus. Fastener Fair Russia 2014 will take place in pavilion 69. The opening hours are 10am - 6pm, 14th -15th May and 10am - 4pm on the 16th May. Visitors can now register for the exhibition through the Fastener Fair Russia website. Admission for pre-registered visitors is free.
Due to popularity, the dates for Fastener Fair Russia 2015 have already been confirmed. The event shall alternate and take place in St. Petersburg again from 24th-26th March 2015. Fastener Fair Russia 2015 will take place at the EXPOFORUM Convention and Exhibition Centre, St Petersburg’s new and modern venue. EXPOFORUM offers outstanding facilities, a fully-developed infrastructure and is within close proximity of the airport, providing good access.
Fastener Fair Russia is part of the Fastener Fair series of trade exhibitions targeting the fastener and fixings industry in selected markets, with Fastener Fair Stuttgart in Germany being the international flagship event. The previous Fastener Fair Stuttgart attracted 800 exhibitors and a total of 10,600 visitors, confirming the fair’s reputation as the world’s leading exhibition and most important event for the fastener and fixing industry.
