The 2nd edition of Fastener Fair Turkey 2014 is taking place from 20-21 November 2014 at the IFM Istanbul Expo Centre. Two months ahead of the exhibition, a total of 113 exhibitors from 11 countries have reserved their stands. Major exhibitor countries at this year’s show are Croatia, China, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, Norway, Spain, Taiwan, Turkey and the United Kingdom.
For Turkey’s fastener and fixing industry Fastener Fair Turkey plays a significant role as a key trading event and as a source of inspiration for future technology trends. The show is a dedicated platform to network, exchange expertise and build new business relations. Fastener Fair Turkey 2014 targets distributors, suppliers, engineers and professionals from industries such as, automotive, energy and power generation, construction and civil engineering, aerospace, installation and resellers / distributors.
Contributing to the success of Fastener Fair Turkey is the dynamic environment in Turkey and the Eurasian region in which the show takes place. Over the last decade Turkey’s GDP grew by an average 5.5% per year. Turkey’s booming manufacturing industries represent an important source of demand for fastener and fixing technology. Major fastener markets in Turkey include automotive, machine building, construction, energy and furniture. On a consumer level, with Turkey’s young aspiring population, there is still considerable scope for growth in demand for domestic appliances and electronic devices.
Fastener Fair Turkey 2014 covers a comprehensive range of fastening products and services including industrial fasteners, construction fixings, assembly and installation systems, fastener manufacturing technology as well as storage, distribution and factory equipment.
The exhibition is supported by the show partner BESIAD, Association for Fasteners Industrialists and Businessmen, as well as by KOSGEB, the Republic of Turkey’s Small and Medium Enterprises Development Organisation.

Fastener Fair Turkey 2014 will be staged in Hall 11 at The IFM Istanbul Expo Centre. The venue is in close proximity to Istanbul’s Ataturk International Airport and easily accessible by public transport. The opening times for the event are 20-21 November 2014 from 10am to 6pm. Online pre-registration for visitors through the exhibition website is free of charge. Entrance tickets otherwise cost 20 Turkish Liras on-site.
