Visitor registration now open for Fastener Fair Turkey


 

 

The 4th International Exhibition for Fastener and Fixing Technology, will take place in Turkey at the IFM- Istanbul Expo Centre on 1-2-3 March 2018.

For the first time, the show will be held on three days including Saturday 3 March. This additional day should increase the number of visitors from the Asian side of Turkey as well as help increase the number of foreign visitors who attend.
Since the first Fastener Fair Turkey in 2013, the event has grown steadily in both size and reputation, providing fastener industry companies with a dedicated platform to showcase their innovations, exchange expertise and develop business partnerships.

Occupying two halls, the event will bring together producers, wholesalers, resellers/distributors and end-users of fastener systems for both industrial and construction applications, as well as suppliers of fastener manufacturing equipment and materials.

Exhibitors make final preparations for Istanbul´s event

More than 190 exhibiting companies from Turkey, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, the UK, Israel, India, Japan, Korea, USA, China and Taiwan have guaranteed their presence at the show.

Turkey´s fastener manufacturers have developed rapidly to meet the needs of a growing home market, and are increasingly looking for international business opportunities. Among companies exhibiting will be Çetin Civata, with a product range that includes high quality bolts, nuts, screws, rivets, washers, anchors, furniture products and threaded rods, as well as grease nipples, hardware, hooks and split pins.

Also present at the show will be Norm Civata, which supplies the automotive, white goods, furniture and construction industries with products such as bolts, bushings, screws, ball joints and rivets. Sa-Ra Enerji Insaat is another exhibitor that is active internationally. It produces high quality bolts nuts and screws, serving markets that include automotive companies, for which it runs a dedicated production line, as well as energy transmission, heavy construction, industry and equipment, and safety critical applications.

Net Civata also ranks the automotive industry as a principal end-market, while leading bolts and fasteners manufacturer Berdan Civata foresees increasing domestic and international demand for Turkish suppliers´ products. The main markets for Berdan products are construction, the energy sector, refineries and petrochemical plants.

Bursa-based Bolt Bağlantı already exports one-third of its output to European customers. The firm is a leading manufacturer of bolts, screws, pins, rivets and studs for the automotive, white goods, construction and furniture markets, as well as supplying distributors.

Offering fasteners from its own production of from partner manufacturers will be Murat Civata, focusing mainly on electrical/electronics, domestic appliances and automotive sectors. Similarly, Konak Civata is both a producer and an importer, with the construction industry one of its key markets.

Turkish suppliers of fastener manufacturing equipment and products will also be well represented. Teknovals Makina, which specialises in tooling for the fasteners sector and other key markets will be exhibiting for the second time at the show.

International focus

Of the companies exhibiting at Fastener Fair Turkey, around 40 percent will be foreign, representing 14 countries and underlining the international nature of the event.

Among fastener suppliers participating will be Plogsties, with a product range that includes MAThread™ screws, nuts, hexagon bolts, pins, axles, rivets and washers.

Suppliers of manufacturing technologies will also be prominent. They include Santech Industrial Technologies, which specialises in supplying equipment and tooling from leading companies to fastener and fixing producers in Turkey. Among manufacturers the company represents are Ingramatic, RMG, SACMA and Weighpack, as well as Wrentham Tool Group.

Dimac will present its machines to inspect and sort fasteners coming off the production line, for the automotive and the aerospace sectors.

Offering materials for fastener manufacturers will be Stahl Alpine (Turkey), representing Voestalpine Wire Rod Austria GmbH, which is just bringing on stream the world´s most innovative wire rod rolling mill.

The surface treatment specialist Nof Metal Coatings Europe from France will also be at the show.

New exhibitors

A notable feature of this edition is the high number of companies exhibiting for the first time. 74 companies will be making their first appearance at the show.
Reform Civata is a Turkish manufacturer of fasteners for construction, white goods and the automotive sector.
Bimeks Tel produces low and high carbon wires mainly for the automotive sector and other industries using steel wires. Metsan Endüstriyel Yapıştırıcılar will present its range of industrial adhesives and sealants.

From outside Turkey, new to the show will be Annibale Viterie SpA, Italian company recognised as one of the most qualified companies for the production of special and standard cold forged screws. Also, from Italy, Imanpack will show its complete range of automatic packaging systems for the hardware industry. The German company Dirak GmbH will present high-quality-system-solutions in the areas of locking, hinge and fastening technology.

The exhibition is supported by the show partner BESIAD, Association for Fastener Industrialists and Businessmen, as well as by KOSGEB, the Republic of Turkey´s Small and Medium Enterprises Development Organisation.

 

Fastener Fair Turkey is part of the worldwide series of Fastener Fair events organised by Mack Brooks for the fastener and fixings industry.
