The Italian valve industry confirms its leading role in the European Oil&Gas market, followed by Germany, UK and France.
Everything is set for the third edition of the IVS Industrial Valve Summit, the international exhibition and conference on valve and flow control technologies that will be held on May 22nd – 23rd 2019 in Bergamo.
After the great success of the past editions, Industrial Valve Summit is back to enhance the value of “Made in Italy” and to show and share competences, knowledge and a know how unique in the world. The international exhibition has established itself as an instrument for promoting the excellence of the national industrial production as well as an important reference point for the local economic system in Lombardy, thanks to the growing number of participants.
IVS 2019 aims to increase its numbers with more visitors, exhibitors, events, conferences and networking opportunities. The past editions registered 3,500 presences in 2015 and 8,000 presences in 2017. At IVS 2019 we expect to welcome more than 250 exhibitors with 10,000 sqm exhibition area and 10,000 visitors from over 60 countries around the world.
The Italian Oil&Gas valve sector plays a leading role in Europe and is a real reference point at international level: the value of the Oil&Gas valve market reaches the 3.3 billion euro with 11,000 operating units belonging to 300 companies. “Made in Italy” heads therefore the total European valve production with a market share of 31%, followed by Germany (26%), UK (13%) and France (11%)
