Metalloobrabotka 2021 live in Moscow features innovations and trends for Metalworking Industry

Technological innovations, products for the machine building and metalworking sectors as well as face-to-face meetings: the 21st Metalloobrabotka brought to life the full range of intelligent machine tools, advanced equipment for metalworking, cutting, tools and components as well as the latest software for the international machine tool industry at the EXPOCENTRE exhibition center in Moscow.

Around 33,000 trade visitors, mostly from Eastern Europe and the CIS states, spent the five trade shows days gathering information about the offerings of the 790 exhibitors from 27 countries presenting their innovations on 32,000 square meters of exhibition space. These results again confirm Metalloobrabotka's status as Russia's leading trade show of international importance for this sector. This networking platform for mechanical engineering and the machine tool industry is one of the ten leading international industrial trade shows worldwide and is held under the patronage of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Metalloobrabotka 2021 also impressed with its new exhibition area Industry 4.0. in Hall 4, which brought together leading companies in the digital transformation from the metalworking industry and young, promising startups.

In addition to the international participations from Belarus, Italy, Switzerland and the Czech Republic, Metalloobrabotka 2021 specifically offered German exhibitors such as AMF ANDREAS MAIER GmbH & Co. KG, Carl Zeiss, Hermle WWE AG, Liebherr-Verzahntechnik GmbH, MHD Werkzeugmaschinen GmbH and ROEMHELD an official joint stand organized by the Messe Düsseldorf Group. 33 participating companies, including new exhibitors, took advantage of this opportunity to establish new business contacts and to position themselves even more strongly in the growth market Russia.

"We are very happy with the response from the international exhibitors from industry and mechanical engineering. Our customers were visibly pleased with the personal exchange at the trade show and the opportunity to show their innovations at the National Pavilion. Despite the corona pandemic and the economic downturn, companies are sticking to investment plans. This also benefits German manufacturers, who in turn contribute to modernization processes in the Russian industry," says Peter Schmitz, Director International Participations and Services at Messe Düsseldorf GmbH.

The trade show and conference were supported by the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Russian Engineering Union, the Federation Council of the Russian Federation and the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Metalloobrabotka was organized by the leading Russian trade fair company Expocentre, Messe Düsseldorf and its subsidiary Messe Düsseldorf Moscow.

The next Metalloobrabotka will be held May 23-27, 2022, at the Expocentre Exhibition Center.
